I was so excited to be traveling from Houston, TX To Ft. Lauderdale, Florida then onward to Lima, Peru.  It was a beautiful day and I didn’t have a care in the world.  I was ready to embark on an adventure of a lifetime.  I think I really have been waiting my whole life to do this, except I just didn’t know it.

I got to George Bush Intercontinental Airport and security was quick to get me through security with no issues. I always love flying United and rarely do I ever have any issues with flights getting canceled or delayed <knock on wood>

Lunch At Rocket & Rye

I had a lovely lunch at Rocket and Rye in the airport which was delicious. I like to eat healthy when traveling, so it’s really nice to have options. This is definitely one of your above average airport restaurants.

Overall, It was a pretty uneventful trip from Houston, TX to Ft Lauderdale, FL.  The best part, the flight was kept on the ground for ten minutes too long, so the pilot comped everyone free Wi-Fi and movies. Thanks, United!!!
