We started the day with a quick walk to have a delicious gourmet breakfast at Honey Honey Cafe and Crepery.
City By The Bay
I don’t think we could have asked for a more beautiful day for our visit down to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. On Pier One there was also twirly chairs to play on, which was a lot of fun and brought out the inner child in me.
I so wish we had a place like The Ferry Plaza Farmer’s Market in Houston. There was everything under the sun to choose from. I was like a kid in the candy store when visiting each of the vendors.
If I ever lived in San Francisco, I would be going there every weekend to pick up all the healthy essentials and some extras too!!
Port Of San Francisco
The Port of San Francisco is responsible for taking care of the waters around the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. I think the architecture of this building is really lovely and reflects the Bay Area in its pretty glass windows.
What I loved about this part of the wharf are all street vendors, musicians, and dancers. In this video, I just couldn’t help myself!
The iconic cable cars still run today and should be a must do on every bucket list.
Our last stop of the day and no visit is complete without time spent at Ghirardelli Square – Chocolate Heaven.
This lovely area with its brick buildings, shops, restaurants and of course the famous Ghiradelli Chocolate Building, is a fun place to visit and worth your time.
We had such an amazing day together just being free and silly. There is nothing like being with great friends both old and new in a fabulous place.
